This Knife is fitted with a handle made from ethically sourced rare native Australian hardwood, known as Ringed Gidgee. Paired with a 'marbled' buffalo horn ferrule and 2 nickel silver rings, it makes for a unique, truly handcrafted one of a kind knife that is both beautiful and practical.
Ringed Gidgee (Acacia Cambagei) is renowned for being one of the hardest woods in the world. It is often compared to ironwood. Its lustrous 'ringed' grain, when polished, shows deep colouring that seems to change depending on the lighting. This handle was made and fitted for us by a talented local craftsman in Sydney, Australia.
Handmade in Sakai, Osaka. Handle Made and fitted in Sydney, Australia
